Purpose: To explain how to Connect to TMU WiFi with a Personal Device
Windows:
- On the taskbar, click on the Wifi icon in the bottom right-hand corner
- Select the network available to you and click connect: TMU-WiFi.
- Open your internet web browser and you will be automatically directed to the authentication page
- If you have not been automatically directed, navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click "Continue to the Internet"
- You are connected!
Mac:
- Select the WiFi menu icon at the top of your screen
- Select the network available to you: TMU-WiFi.
- Open your internet web browser and you will be automatically directed to the authentication page
- If you have not been automatically directed, navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click "Continue to the Internet"
- You are connected!
Android:
- Open the Settings application
- Tap the Wifi tab under "Wireless & networks"
- Select the network available to you: TMU-WiFi.
- Tap the gear icon next to TMU-WiFi.
- Tap on MAC address type.
- Select Use phone MAC.
- Tap on the authentication notification which will direct you to our network authentication page
- If you did not receive a notification, open your web browser and navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click "Continue to the Internet"
- You are connected!
iOS:
- Open the Settings application
- Make sure the Wifi indicator is turned on
- Select the network available to you: TMU-WiFi.
- Tap the information button (i) next to TMU-WiFi.
- Tap the slider to turn off Private Address.
- Reconnect to TMU-WiFi
- Your internet browser will open automatically and you will be directed to the authentication page
- If you have not been automatically directed, navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click "Continue to the Internet"
- You are connected!
