As phones start moving from the desk to the smart phones in our pockets, it's important to take control of when and where you receive notifications. Call handling is the best and easiest way to control notifications for the calls you get to ensure you aren't bothered when someone calls your work line.

Adjusting Call Handling Settings

Go to your Zoom Phone Settings in the Zoom web portal
In the navigation menu, click Phone.
Click the Settings tab.

Set your hours

In the Business Hours section
Click Edit next to the daily schedule. Set your business hours to your desired times.

Set Devices and Applications

Click Edit next to Call Handling and select what device or application you would like calls to go to during business hours
In the Closed Hours section
Click Edit next to Call Handling and choose where closed hours calls go


Using Do Not Disturb (DND)

If you would like to not receive calls for a time, turn on Do Not Disturb for that time to send all calls to voicemail:
  1. Sign in to the Zoom Application
  2. Click your profile picture in the upper-right of the screen
  3. Click Do not disturb and set the amount of time you would like it to last.
